Rios D'Ouro - Documentary

*Rios D'Ouro* marked my first project as a camera operator. It was an unexpected challenge, as I had little time to prepare for the shoot. Despite this, I spent three intense days capturing the stunning landscapes, focusing on the perfect lighting to convey the natural beauty of the rivers and surrounding environment. As both director and camera operator, I was deeply involved in every shot, ensuring each frame told the story of the land and its people.

Beyond the filming, we conducted interviews with a diverse range of individuals—from experts advocating for the end of dams to landowners who would lose their property if the dam were built. This documentary highlights the environmental consequences of such projects, emphasizing the risk of species extinction and the destruction of vital habitats.
